Restorations and Rebuilds
We specialise in full piano restorations and rebuilds to all makes and models of upright and grand pianos. Our full restorations generally include a full action rebuild, full re-string (including new tuning pins), iron frame restoration, keyboard restoration, pedal mechanism restoration and a full cabinet strip and repolish. This aside, we are also flexible and understand that each individual job is different and your piano may or may not require all of this work. We can tailor make a restoration package to suit any situation or budget and we offer free, no obligation quotes across the Adelaide metropolitan area.
Piano action rebuilds:
Piano actions contain over 500 individual components. We meticulously remove each component and restore it to its original playing condition. We use only the best parts and materials to ensure your piano is restored to perfect playing condition. There is no piano action we cannot restore and we stock over 10,000 spare parts in our piano restoration workshop.
Piano Cabinet Restorations:
We carry out full piano cabinet restorations to all upright and grand pianos and our French polisher specialises in restoring older style pianos. No piano cabinet is too far gone and even broken, damaged or missing woodwork can be restored back to its original condition. We also carry out insurance work for fire or water damaged pianos and quarantee all of our work.
Keyboard restoration:
We carry over 1,000 spare ivory and plastic keytops and carry out restorations to ivory keyboards with missing ivories or badly chipped or stained keys. Non-ivory keyboards are recovered with moulded plastic key tops which are hand fitted in our workshop.
